LSA memberships run on the calendar year (January - December). The LSA is currently in the 2020 membership year (ends December 31, 2020). We offer three membership types. For regular and student membership types, there is a $10 additional charge if you wish to receive a print copy of the journal.
Regular Membership: Regular memberships are based on a sliding income scale.
Student Membership: To be entitled to student membership, one must be a full-time, matriculated student at an institution of higher education. Student membership cannot be claimed for more than five years. LSA reserves the right to ask for proof of enrollment.
Special International Membership: Scholars who reside in low and lower-middle income economies only (World Bank list, click here) may join the Association as Special International Members. This membership entitles them to all the benefits of a regular membership with online only access to the Law & Society Review. Proof of residence in a qualified country required. Upon approval, you will be sent an invoice to complete your membership registration.
*** Non Member types offer very limited features and are only for those who do not want access to full LSA member benefits but would like to submit an abstract for the Annual Meeting. All other member types also can submit abstracts for the Annual Meeting.
